(Imagine the scene in slow motion)

Annabelle circled around Lhasa with her hand always touching him as she went. She stroke him slowly and gently over his breast, and up to his shoulder. Her hand followed his hair swirls and flow down to his ribs, flank, thigh and to finally reach up his dock above his tail and do the same procedure on the other side and when she reached his flank she followed his neck and mane and ended finally up on his chin, forehead and then his dark muzzle. Lhasa had his eyes half-closed in pure content and relaxation as Annabelle stroke his body tenderly. He had been eager and bouncy twenty minutes ago but now he was like another horse after Annabelle's direction and calm way of handling him.

With a little pick of her leading whip on his leg Lhasa raised his leg willingly high up and outstretched in a greeting manor. He waved his leg as Annabelle repeatedly touched his flank tenderly but still firm with the whip. He looked back at her with his ears relaxed to the side as he listened to her soft voice as she encouraged him to continue as he did a great job waving. Annabelle lowered her whip and Lhasa lowered his leg at the same point and he looked back at his trainer with pricked ears as if he was about to say "Did I do good?"
"Good, boy..." whispered Annabelle and she gave him a slice of a apple from her pocket. "Good boy."
