A Whiter Shade of Pale

Annabelle opened the door to Vivipara's stall as the white mare walked up to her from the inside corner. Annabelle stretched for the halter on it's hook outside of the stall, got it and walked up beside Viva to thread it on. Viva raised her head high in a try to avoid the halter but not high enough as Annabelle was rather tall and Viva rather short. She tucked the halter though Viva's muzzle and strapped it over her neck. Viva looked out with her head still high as Annabelle hooked a lead rope to the halter and lead the mare out. As soon as she got out a stallion across the little stable yard cried out happily when he saw the white mare coming out. Lhasa looked after them longingly as they left the stable area towards one of the unoccupied pastures.

Annabelle turned Viva loose by taking off the halter in the little pasture she had chosen for their little training session. Viva walked off as she smelled the ground slightly. Annabelle threw the halter on the ground but kept the lead rope and started swinging it slightly. Viva started trotting when she saw and heard the lead rope and she circled around Annabelle in a wide circle as Annabelle followed.
"Turn." Annabelle changed her body language as she said it and Viva reacted immediately and turned to trot in the other direction.

After a lot of trotting Annabelle asked Viva to return in to her. Viva turned up to Annabelle and walked up to her with a relaxed expression as she stopped in front of her trainer and looked at her closely. Annabelle raised one hand and tapped Viva's upper lip slightly several times. Viva understood the command and she lifted her upper lip and nibbled the air until Annabelle lowered her hand again.

"Who's a good girl?" asked Annabelle as she patted Viva's forelock and poked the mare slightly on the throat with her whip. Viva tucked in her chin to her throat and stayed there for several seconds before returning to a own choice position of her head. Annabelle gave Viva a apple slice as she walked up and placed herself close to the mares chest with one arm up around Viva's neck. She touched the whip on Viva's leg and she raised it as Annabelle hooked her thigh around Viva's leg and they embraced each other.

Hihi, Annabelle sure dosen't see Viva suit her riding... they dosen't really click... but that dosen't mean she dosen't enjoy training the mare in liberty dressage. They work great on the ground together however
And I love Viva here XD She is so sweet with her nibbling lips in the air
