Despite what William had told about starting Brava in a listed race in her debut, it all changed when he was informed that the mares had so much potential so she could challenge the higher classes. And with that William signed her up in the highest there was in Sweden, a mounted race on G1 level. Everyone though he was crazy and was challenging his faith… but to everyones slight surprise, Brava came home on the yard after the race with a trophy in Williams arms. “How? But-?” started Sara after their arrival. “Talent.” said William a bit cocky but kissed his wife on her forhead before he tended to Brava.

“Im nervous,” said Josephine and squirmed from the place where she was seated in the grandstand among thousands of other spectators. Danny looked at her. “Why are you nervous? It’s my horse, I am the one who should be nervous!” “We are all nervous,” filled Sara in who bounced Cage in her lap as she watched out on the track as the standardbreds paraded on the track before the race. “There she is!” Josephine flew up and clapped her hands, and the other followed. Danny was the one screaming the highest. “Destroy them, Brava!!!” He shouted above everyone’s heads. Brava looked at the grandstands as she trotted by as William joined them. “Time to race.” he said calmly and sat down.
Brava trotted safely behind the starting car and awaited to be set loose on the track. Horses gathered on each side of her and she eyed them fleetingly. The car speed off and the horses gained speed as they also took off, free to move forward without the car which had recently blocked their way. Brava’s jockey held her back and the young mare settled into a 5th position in the second line with two horses on each side of her. “They better get out of there later… or else they will be boxed.” complained William and rolled a program in his hands. “There is lots of track left, dear…” said Sara.
“Come on Brava!!! Show them! Go BRAVA!!!” Danny jumped up and down as the horses came out of the last turn. Brava was still boxed in between horses and the jockey looked around to see a opening, but there was none. “Get out of there!” Shouted William and punched the program in his hand with a slam. All of a sudden, on the track, a horse to Brava’s left started galloping and the jockey steered the horse our of the way. Brava’s jockey was quick and guided Brava out of the heap and then he showed the whip and Brava took off. She struggled with only 300 meters left to go and she had now two horses in front of her. The jockey whipped her to gain a extra gear but Brava had no higher gear at the moment. She closed in slowly and that was when one of the horses up front lost speed and fell behind them as they passed by. Brava worked hard as she made a great efford to reach the leading horse. With 100 meter left they were side by side, fighting each other for the lead and slowly the challenger lost speed and endurance and it fell behind. Brava sprinted towards the finish and crossed it first with half a length to spare.
The folks from Rosendal jumped up and down on their seats by joy as Brava came trotting slowly after the race to great the audience. The staff ran down to greet her and to give her many well deserved pats. And with this race, Brava Bravissima was proven to belong with the G1 horses of the nation of Sweden.

Oh what have I seen in the credits. Horse Racing Manager. I have that game too. It's so great. I love it to watch my own horses on the track. But my old PC always broke down so I have to simulate the race without seeing my horsies.
Such a gorgeous picture as well, I love how Brava's colors look here.
