Conditions Between Parties

What a mess they were in, Annabelle and William. They had already agreed on not removing the child, but to keep it cause allot of issues for both of them.
“Oh dear. What do you think would be best?” William was lost not really knowing what to do.
“Well.” She cleared her throat and took a little breath. “Your father is apparently not happy. I am not really overjoyed by marriage.” Yes, that was a condition if the child was to be born, and Annabelle wasn’t happy about it, free spirited as she was. She had a hard time believing Damon would actually want her as a daughter in law. Maybe not really the prospect he had awaited for his son.
“He is a very big child-lover. I am sure he would be even more disappointed if the child stayed unborn.

“William. I do like you… but aren’t you looking for love? You know. Sparkles and Unicorns.” she made a silly gesture with her hands.
“I am not.” He looked at her as if she had said something really silly. “I am a businessman and I want a good looking silent wife next to me.” He chuckled.
“Good looking I can provide. But silent? I wouldn’t hold my breath.” Annabelle was not the silent type when she stood up for something or had high believes. Very mind strong indeed.
“What if it is just a suggestion? What if you just play in public the silent wife? You can have your flirty nights at clubs or whatever…” he winked at her slightly.
“Are you joking with me?” she had a hard time believing he would agree on such a term.
“I am not.”
“We would be married. I pretend to be a quiet wife by your side but as soon as the curtain comes down I am allowed to do what I want? Did I get it right?” She watched him questionably.
“Exactly.”
“You surprise me Mr. Rodriguez.” She smiled at him.
“I have my way of solving problems. I learned from our captain to solve sometimes morally questionable.” He grinned a little at her.
“I can accept those terms… but I don’t want a church!
“You would agree to have a child with me and “be my wife” if you can live out your desires..?
Annabelle looked at him “As you said. Morally Questionable.”

Annabelle kept on looking at him and continued “When did you tell your father about this?” She pointed slightly to her stomach.
“Ehm. I told him yesterday.”
“Have you spoken to him since?” she was not smiling anymore but neither was she frowning. Her expression was rather relaxed. William shook his head. He had not talked to him since that conversation. “Do you want to introduce him to… your future wife?” The words was mighty alien in her mouth since she had never even considered marriage in her entire life.
William looked at her wide eyed. Had he heard right? “Oh my God! You’d be my wife!” He kissed her happily. “You will need a ring!! But I have a bad taste when it comes to jewelry I warn you.” He laughed.

William eyed her a little then. “But isn’t it weird if you live in Sweden while I live in Austria?”
Oh, right. There was that issue too. Both of them had their obligations at their stables and none of them were able to move at this point. “ I could maybe be able to come down once a month for a week or so… and when the child is born… I can move down here for a year and live with you.” she watched him for his reaction.
“That sounds beautiful.” William seemed okay with that condition. “Damn. I have such a pretty woman by my side.”
She breathed out with a smile and looked at him confidently “You do. And you have a family to be” She reached for his hand and placed it on her belly while tapping her fingers over his hand.
“Dear God. I can’t believe it.” He sighed and smiled.
“Me neither…” and she returned his smile.
