Enough is Enough

Emma had Lascivio framed in a trot as they was warming up just before their start at the HARPG Grand Prix. He went nicely though had a little hard time to focus when other horses past by. But as soon as Emma noticed that someone would come too close, she turned away with him.

"How does it look?"
William had joined Kei by the fence and observe the equestrian team during their warm up.
"So far?" Kei looked at her boss "We can't complain..."
William inhaled and focused on the two out in the ring and just as he did that, Lascivio went up. He reared up, over and over again. Again and again without stopping. He cantered forward while rearing all over. Emma lost her stirrups and draged his left reins hard to try and make him stop.

Lascivio circled in a piruette, all of a sudden furious over the situation and he screamed out as the crowd around the ring looked at them, now only seeing them. Emma tried to correct the situation but Lascivio was not eager to listen and all of a sudden from all the half rearings, he went full up, dangerously near to tilt over and fall backwards. He managed to keep up right and went down hard a couple of meters to his left. Emma miracously managed to stay in the saddle but as soon as they landd, she tugged his reins hard and William bolted from the fence heading fast up to the team. Lascivio foamed and he shook all over. William jumped after the reins and grabbed the ordinary reins since he knew if he grabbed the extra dressage rings, this could possible upset Lascivio even more.

"Off!" William was firm and surely angry by the tone of his voice, but he said it low so only Emma could hear him. "Your off."
Emma glared at him, but obayed. She dismounted fastly and was humiliated by the situation.
Kei came running up to try and help them out, if she could. Maybe William needed help with Lascivio.
"Kei, can you follow Emma to the trailer and change clothes with her?"
Kei looked at William to Emma, meeting her angry glance and then back at William.
"What?!"
"You ride him. You know the routine." William looked at her as he tried to loosen Lascivio's girth a little bit as the stallion walked around him fastly.
"But-" said Kei when Emma jumped in angerly.
"You cannot be serious! Kei?! She isn't even a propper dressage rider! She-"
"ZIP IT!" William was furious but tried to be calm around Lascivio and tried to keep his cool. "Go and change you two. Now."
