Kei couldn’t sleep. It was late at night but her mind couldn’t give her a rest. He was everywhere. She tried to turn around, tried another angle, but nothing gave her peace. She only saw him. Him.
She sighed and pulled her arms up close with her hands under the pillow to give her head support. C.L had left her this day too. He had left when the rain surrendered and gave away. He had mounted the mare and ridden of with a last glance at Kei. She had smiled slightly at him, and he had nodded to her.
Kei couldn’t describe the feelings she felt for C.L. He was special, nothing compared to other men she had met. He was… interesting. She giggled when she repeated the word she always used when she described him.
- Am I obsessed with you? Kei tried with all her heart to forget him and don‘t want to have him near. She realized in that moment she wanted him. But, she was nothing for him. Nothing special. But he was… he was everything. “I cannot believe I have this kinds of thoughts“. Kei sighed heavily. She needed the sleep, she had work to do tomorrow. She could not stay awake anymore, but he robed her sleep.
Her mind played games with her. She couldn’t help but letting her imagination take over her conscious. She saw his eyes, those deep blue eyes with so much pain yet beauty. She saw him cantering in slow-motion on his mare down a meadow. Kei tried to push them away but she was lost, lost in her imagination.
- What shall I do? She through her blanket over her head and tried to keep her thoughts outside.
