"The breed has been out in the cold for a while (not that the horses complains) but is now back to stay. We are celebrating the bred by holding this grand auction, and later on we will be hosting a show for these giant horses.

"The horses are led out on the arena. We have a total of 16 horses up for sale today, 7 stallions and 9 mares, all good examples of the breed. All of the horses will start with the bid of 2000 USD, (20 )"

"Number one is a calm and wise mare at the age of 235. She has tended to be a bit overly wise at times and has several times figured out how to avoid to work or do heavy choirs. But luckily she is calm and sweet and therefore she would never hurt anyone. She haven‘t shown any perticulare skills and therefore becomes what you make of her. Do I have any bids?"

"Number 7 is a fleabitten stallion. He is very down to earth and very calm, and sometimes tend to be a little dull and boring. He moves slow but still in a nice way. He is rather big so that can be one reason why he tends to be so slow. He will need a firm rider who can push him forward and make him believe working I fun. Her stripes shimmers in between pink and blue, depending on the light. She is playful but also relaxed in her way. She plays nicely and is very fair to her playmates. "And number 14. This is a cremello stallion, also with grey stripes. We seem to have lots of grey today. Anyway. This Hototo has a beautiful marking where each stripe tend to follow each other in a nice flow. He is careful and tends to take a long time before he decides on a matter or if something is worth doing. He actually jumps good, which isn’t too common about Hototo’s. Do I have any bids on him?”

"And finally, number 16. The last horse out of the bunch. This is also a rare Hototo since this Hototo by some reason have a white spot under it‘s belly… very much reminding of a splash marking! This has not been investigated since it is very hard to determine genetics on Hototo’s, but we can only assume that it might be a splash marking this mare is carrying around. She is sweet and nice and treats everyone equal… and… she loves children. She would be the perfect Hototo to introduce to your children. Any bids?”
