It's Just Good Practice

As soon as Messi entered the ring she seemed to shrink. Oh, this was scary, even if they were outside.
She chewed her bit nervously while she was trotting, looking forwards under her forelock. Kei noticed
how the mare tensed up and gave her a easy stroke along her neck before greeting the judges.
"No worries, Messi. It's just practice. Nothing serious," the bell rang and she stroke Messi again.
They entered a collected canter along the rail as they turned up towards the first jump. Messi knocked
her head up to get a clear look of what was in front of her. The motion was quite sudden, but it didn't
seem to disturb Kei too much as she managed to get Messi over the first jump nicely. For each jump Messi
seemed to pay more and more attention to the jumps and leaped nicely over the jumps instead of focusing
on the audience. If they were clear, they would have a killer position in case of a jump off, since they were
the second last out in the class.

Whoop whoop! It was a while since I drew a picture like this. An entry to an event
But I like how it came out. And it's nice to see Messi finally in the ring... and Kei back in the
show jumping saddle again
