It was kind of hard to draw a thoroughbred performing a extended trot without making it look like a warm blood

I had a hard time with that, to give Stormeld his thoroughbred body.
Anyway…

It was time for Stormeld’s first show as a riding horse. He had left his career as a steeplechase horse behind himself, and was now facing new grounds. He loves to jump, so it was a bit trickier to learn him the ground work properly and the dressage. But after lots of training he agreed to work with Sebestjen.

Today was a huge day for the stallion. It was now he would show if he got the nerves to compete in 3-days evening. Sebbe was a bit nervous when they entered the arena but calmed down as soon as the music started to play. The dark bay stallion looked around before they started. He looked up at the grandstands, at the area and into the distance, unsure what he could except from the new discipline.
