Personality

Messi is concidered one of the rough diamonds of the Rosendal Obertaurers, and is maybe the most cherished one even though she haven't shown her front hooves just yet in the ring. She was a known fact and celebrity even before she was a fetus, since her sire and dam gave the audience a pretty neat memory from the Olympics when they mated in the ring. And little Messi was a known fact.

She is a sweet and careful mare who is very careful when she moves, as if she is afraid to fall down into a rabbit hole. She is a cuddly, friendly and patient creature who always leans her head over her door in her stall to greet you, no matter if you have treats or not. She is in the middle of the rank among the mares at Rosendal and she dosen't show any interest of going up the ranks to the leaders position. She can be a little tricky to work with when riding, since she sometimes simply dosen't want to do thing because she simply imagine that the ground will crack open underneath her. She can be nervous when being ridden, so the rider needs to be extremely relaxed and guide her with easy going hands, but still firm.

Messi is one of the hardest horses at Rosendal to get to eat. It isn't that she dosen't eat, it is just that she just eats about 50% of her portions and won't eat more. She is tricky to get to drink too since she also her only drinks about 50% of the amount of what another horse would drink. She get's extra vitamins in her food and is given extra treats such as fruits in between the meals so that she keeps her energy up. But also her she is tricky. She can simply choose to not take the treats and that is why she is one of the hardest horses to keep fit.

She has a beautiful confirmation and she is easily spotted in the crowd. She has a normal walk, but her trot, canter and gallop is beyond amazing. She carries herself easily if she has the right rider, but will jump if she decides there is something dangerous nearby. So be careful.
She is a born jumper and has shown early on that she was meant for jumping, though she still lacks confident when entering a ring and tends to shrink in the ring and sometimes accidently collides with the holders to the jumps since she is trying to hide behind the holders.

She is easy to handle and dosen't make any fuss about herself. She is a bit ticklish under her belly and so grooming can be a little troublesome since she bits when she is being annoyed by the brush under her belly.
She has all the patient in the world when it comes to tacking and saddling but when it comes to shaving, she flees. she is afraid of the sound by the trimmer. She isn't too fond of water, but will accept it after a while when she realices she have to endure for a couple of minutes. The vet and ferrier is more than welcomed into her sphere.

She is easy to fetch in the pasture since she is always following her Great Grandmother Siamsa, who is one of those who comes up to you first. So so long Siamsa comes, Messi will come also. Other than Siamsa, she is often seen standing next to her grandsire Contradictio and they are often standing together and scratches each others withers.
She really is a doll in the stables and is often seen standing and giving kisses and nibbles to her neighbor Vivipara through the bars.

You can ride Messi anywhere, but she prefers outside, she tends to lighten up then and gets a extra energy boost.
