I have intended to make this mare, since we need one, and I absolutely love this mare. Damn, how beautiful and I love her temper, up and downsides XD

Zenit is swedish and means "The highest peak of the sky" Love it

Personality

Zenit is a beautiful, intelligent creature who can most likely turnout to become one of the future stars of Rosendal. She has been broken, and ridden, and everyone who has ridden her has claimed her as one of the most satisfying horses to work with.
She is never playful and is totally dedicated to her work while ridden. She has shown a completive side, and when ridden alone she is relaxed, but as soon as another horse is entering, she “blows up” and looks much more bigger and muscular than before.

Zenit has already tried to claim the position as the leader mare in the little herd she is a part of, but the leader in there, holds the spot tight. Zenit just have to wait for her turn. She enjoys the company from other mares, so there is no problem to let her be with other horses in the pasture. She is very brave and is always the first to check something out when something new appears in the pasture.

Zenit possesses the beautiful confirmation of the Rosendaler with a beautiful roman nose. She is heavily built and yet agile. She has a powerful walk as she almost stomps her legs in the ground as she walks. Her trot, canter and gallop is a pleasure to witness, as she has a flowing move in her legs when speed up. She is heard when she comes, just because of her bulky mass. She really enjoys jumping, and has a natural talent for it. She is not very fond of groundwork’s, but she survives. Zenit has the bad habit of walking when you mount her, and if you are having a really bad day, she will go from standing still to trot in a instant, just because she want’s to get moving.

She is a pleasure to handle, as she is no problem to be around. She enjoys long grooming sessions, and to get massage from time to time. She is used to have hands all over her body and she is not touchy. She is not fond of water and will dance away in the beginning from it. But after a few tries she will stand (almost) still. To feed her is no challenge as such, it is just that she is blocking the way to the door, and will try to get out once you have opened the door. She knows that the food behind you (the food wagon) has allot more food in it than the little scoop you are offering her. She is a girl with taste for food.

When the vet is for a visit, Zenit has to be tightly strapped up in one of the grooming stalls and got a shot to calm her down. The vet is not her favorite. She doesn’t like the Ferrier either, but accepts his work.
Zenit is easy to retrieve in the pasture as she has learned that most often there is oats and treats in her stall waiting for her. Zenit has her days when she is looking as she is sulking, and days when she is happy about almost everything. The time when she is most tricky to handle, especially in the stall, is when she is in heat.

Zenit can be ridden almost everywhere, but she prefers outside locations, just because her loud hoof beat’s echoes in a arena, she prefers to be outside. She loves hikes, and can easily be out on a hike a entire day, just to see other places and meet other horses along the way.

Zenit has no medical history so far, and we intend to keep it that way. She receives massage and stretching in her legs after every workout, and every evening to keep her legs healthy and strong.

Medical History: 3 year old, she got stucked in a plastic bag which had blown into the pasture. She got spooked when it got around her leg and she ran and stumbled, causing a limp for a week.
