Personality

Viper was a gift from Raven Eye Stable to Rosendal Stables when RE decided to pause their cooperation into further notice.

Viper is a young stallion who has the best chances in life to make it on the track. He has a very beautiful way of moving that makes him look very fluent and easy going. When Viper is stretching out in his gallop for a short distance, you better hold on tight, because he will charge for his top speed. This makes him most likely a sprinter and he might compete in that in the future.

Viper is a nice boy to work with and seems to get along nicely with other horses as humans around him. He is easy to tack, saddle, mount, handle etc. But to ride him you might need a more experienced rider who can control him when he gets bored, which happens quite often.
He can bite from time to time, but is for the most part nice towards humans who takes care of him.

Viper has a huge problem with the stable cat Killer, since he doesn’t like cats. Killer often climbs on the stalls and jumps into them to accompany the horses, which Viper doesn’t like at all.

He is very outgoing and curious, which makes him eager to learn new things. He has to be entertained for the most part of the day, or he will get bored. That’s why he has a ball and toys in his stall, just to keep him amused.

To fetch Viper in the pasture is no huge problem. He doesn’t run away, but he doesn’t come to you when you call for him. He simply ignore you and you have to go to him to bring him in. He is for the most part of the day sleeping in his pasture, that’s why he ignores you. He sleeps.

You can ride Viper anywhere, he doesn’t bother to be ridden on strange places, he just enjoys the ride and the new surroundings. To ride him in a group is no problem at all since he seems to like the company from other horses.

We’re hoping that Viper’s Venom will feel at home at Rosendal and soon start his racing career. Now it’s just left to wait until he starts to be trained and soon started in his debut race.
