Spring

One year had past and spring had set at Rosendal Stables. It was a marvelously beautiful day and the birds was singing in the sky. In the pond the ducks swam with their ducklings close behind. The first foal in a long time had been born at the stables just one week before. Today was the first time the little creature was out in the great pasture together with it‘s mother. Maggie grazed with a huge appetite. She had been inside for a week and had not seen grass since last time she was out. Between her legs pranced the little foal happily ad it reared up against Maggie’s stomach, trying to get Maggie to play with it.

Maggie delivered a little Seal Brown Splashed filly! I think I am in love with the little thing
The members in the stable had a hard time to give the little baby a name, but decided eventually to name her Stormlykta which means storm-lantern in Swedish But for short, she is called Lykta.
