I took my bicycle and headed for a stable nearby called Jägersborg who has Friesians. I was so lucky! All horses were out in their pastures! And as I was standing there with my camera, the owner comes out. Polite as I am, I went and greeted him and told him who I was. He was really happy that I was taking photos of the horses and he helped me take some splendid action pictures of their 3 year old stallion (who by the way, is a real sweetheart ) I had so fun taking pictures of the beautiful friesians. They had 12 Friesians out, and two of them was pregnant, and the due date is in june.
The owner said that I am welcomed back anytime to take pictures. He was just so happy that more people got up their eyes for this breed. They are still quite rare in Sweden.
I am so happy! While I was standing there I could not help but thinking of Cher Ami. Now I really understand her noble heart after to have looked deep into a friesians eyes.
This is no stock! Hence the watermarks!

There is a Friesian stable about 15 minutes from my house..They are gorgeous horses, so noble and powerful, they have a beauty that cannot be portrayed by any other breed in the world. I also love this shot, the way he's galloping away is gorgeous.
