Well Deserved Rest, Lassie

"He should be training." said Emma firmly at the morning meeting with her arms crossed against her chest. "He need the training."
William was sitting at the short end of the long table watching down towards Emma's spot to his right. They had argued back and forth for 5 minutes and the rest of the staff was sitting in silence... afraid to get in the middle of their boss and the dressage trainer.
"I want to give him a rest. Two weeks." William clicked a pencil and looked down into a folder with all the horses schedule where Lascivio's program for the upcoming month was facing the ceiling. "The olympics was tough and I want all Olympic horses to get a long rest, especially Lascivio since he still has a career after this event. Two weeks of rest. End of discussion." William looked swiftly at Emma and then wrote down the info in the planner. Emma was not pleased and when her mouth twisted, then Damien leaned towards Danny and and Kei and whispered in their ears so no one else would see or hear.
"Here comes the sun... Do-do. Do-do..."

Kei was leading Lascivio out of his stall and was heading out to the pastures. Other days he would be tacked up by now and be prepared for his one hour of training, but now he was heading out in only his halter towards the pastures. As they made their way over the moat to the stables and heading out to the manors of Rosendal, Lascivio's ears was slightly back and he had a sulky expression. Kei held him tight as he started to nibble after her arm. When they was over the moat, instead of turning left to the arena and working areas, they turned right insteed towards the pastures. On a fraction of a micro second, Lascivio's ears shot forward and all sulkiness was gone. He danced slightly as he walked but with a eager expression on his face and when Kei turned him loose he walked out to the middle and... just stood there... watching the areas with pricked ears.

Kei returned at the afternoon and was surely surprised when she saw Lascivio laying down in his lunch-hay and ate it slowly with still pricked ears.
"Is it nice with vacation?!" called Kei to him and she was shocked when he looked up with hay dangling from the corner of his mouth and... neighed to her.
Kei just stood there with huge eyes.
"Are you sick?!"
Lascivio continued watching her while he chewed his hay with great appetite as if to say "Im not sick. Look. Im eating."

Hihi, maybe a vacation for 2 weeks is good for Lassie ^^ He might be needing it, though Emmais surely not pleased XD She wants to get back to training and return to the next show. Well, she have to wait a couple of weeks. There are other horses who needs her attention ;D

But Lascivio is so gorgeous in this pic. I am in love
