"The creekhorse was in the Nordic mythology and Scandinavian FOLKLORE the spirit of the creek.
It is said that the horse was a deceitful predator who lured children to ride on its back and then drown them in the water. The children think that the horse is so beautiful that they want to ride on it. It does not matter how many children there were, the horse's back grew longer the more children who sat on it. If you want to prevent a creekhorse to drown the children, you should throw a piece of steel between the horse and the water. Then the horse does not go that route, and its power is broken."
I had a vision when I started with this one, I wanted to creat me favorite myth in swedish mythology- The Creekhorse. It's like the celtic Kelpie
When I was little my grandmother always told me storys about the creekhorse, and they where so fascinating. And now I have finaly done it, I have made it to a painting.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
